ABOUT OUR FAMILY'S
HISTORY AND EXPERIENCE
 
          
          The Ligato Magur family's roots began over 75 years ago when Fred and Theresa Case opened a grocery store on Fourth Street in South Troy. Fred had fresh butchered meats and Theresa made the family's favorite Italian sauces, meatballs, cookies, pies and holiday specialties.
 
          Then Connie Case Ligato opened Connie's Coffee Break. It was a favorite lunch spot for twenty five years for the retailers, lawyers, bankers and shoppers. All of the Ligato sons and daughters were raised in the restaurant, that is where they learned the families favorite recipies.
 
          Terry Ligato Magur continued her career in the restaurant industry. She was chef owner of Cafe Terese in Brunswick, managed Brown's Brewing, Bellini's, Dakota, Mangia's and food and beverage director at The Best Western and Quality Inn where she catered events up to 600 people. With over thirty years of cooking experience and knowledge, she knows that her customers needs are the most important part of doing business. Terry is passionate and committed to excellence.
 
          Terry is semi retired only catering a few events a week. She has passed the family torch and her skills and passion on to her son Christian. Christian trained as a cook and sous chef at Cafe Terese, sous chef at Brown's Brewing  Company and was chef and manager of Macfadden's at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
